ISIC Student Card
ISIC – International Student Identity Card – is the only globally recognized student ID. It provides student status verification and thousands of discounts worldwide to all full-time students above 12 years of age – there is no upper age limit.
ISIC is available to all full-time students and is recognized in every corner of the world. You can apply for a digital ISIC student card whether you're in compulsory, vocational or high school, college, or university, as long as you are studying full-time. ISIC is also available to full-time doctoral students who have not defended their thesis yet.

Who is eligible for an ISIC student card?
If you’re a full-time student at a governmentally accredited school, college or university, you can apply for the ISIC student card. You need to be over 12 years of age; there is no upper age limit. Full-time doctoral students, who have not defended their thesis yet, are also eligible to apply for an ISIC student ID.
You will be asked to prove your full-time student status when applying for ISIC. Being a full-time student means that you are studying a minimum of 15 hours a week, for at least 12 weeks per year.
No longer a student?
Don't worry! If you are 30-years-old or younger, you are eligible for the International Youth Travel Card (IYTC). With an IYTC card, you're still part of the ISIC's global community and can take advantage of thousands of benefits and discounts that are also available for ISIC student card holders.
Practical information about ISIC
Card validity
The standard digital ISIC is valid 12 months from the date of purchase. You can see the end date of your ISIC validity on your ISIC app profile or the digital card itself.
Digital ID
With the digital ISIC card in the ISIC app, you are able to prove your student status anytime, anywhere — also offline. Your ISIC and all its student discounts are always in your pocket, ready to save you money on the go!
Academic Co-branded cards
Many academic institutions and student unions issue co-branded ISIC student cards. Check with your school and student union if they already offer ISIC to their students or members at a discounted price or for free.
